Namiri Plains is one of Africa’s best locations for observing big cats. Before Namiri Plains was built, these grasslands were closed for 20 years to allow the cheetah population to restore. Located in the vast and remote grasslands of the eastern Serengeti, Namiri Plains provides a tranquil and secluded retreat within a wildlife-rich environment. This was the first safari camp in the area, the guides are the custodians and know these grassy plains the best, sharing the most profound connections to the wildlife and innate respect for this precious ecosystem. 

Enjoy a luxurious stay in one of the eleven tented suites. Each suite features sliding doors, an expanded viewing deck, and an outdoor standalone resin bathtub. The suite’s stone walls are made of solidified ashes from ancient erupting volcanoes, which naturally provide insulation to keep you cool during the day and warm at night. The award-winning Sayari camp is based in the north of  Serengeti National Park, with a prime location to witness thousands of wildebeest crash across the Mara River as part of their Great Migration.

Besides the herds, there’s a healthy population of predators, including lions and leopards. When the European migrant birds arrive, the number of bird species swells to 500, many of which can be spotted on game drives or walking safaris. 

Overlooking the golden plains, our 15 bright and spacious suites have walk-in showers, al fresco tubs and verandas on which you can laze away the afternoon with a book. Sayari’s rim-flow pool is set between natural rock formations for guests to cool off in while watching elephants or zebras ambling past camp. The camp’s latest upgrade includes a plush library and information centre which incorporates a rich cultural focus on the colourful Kuria tribe who call the northern Serengeti home. Dunia, in Tanzania’s central Serengeti, is well placed for wildlife spotting. During the annual Great Migration, guests can watch giant herds of wildebeest moving through the area right from camp.

The mobile Olakira Migration Camp follows the wildebeest migration around the Serengeti, from the epic river crossings in the north to the southern plains where they give birth to thousands of calves each year. Stay with us to witness the greatest animal migration in the world. 

Between June and October, Olakira is in the north to witness the crossing of the Mara River. Here, watch thousands of wildebeest take a leap of faith into the water, facing hungry Nile crocodiles and cantankerous hippos. When the herds are on the move, the air is full of grunting, thudding hooves and billowing dust. From December until March, we move camp to the southern plains of the Serengeti, where the wildebeest go to give birth and graze on lush grass, and predators such as lions and cheetahs gather to prey on the young.  

Even at night, the Olakira Migration Camp experience is special. Our mesh-covered stargazing tents allow guests to sleep under a sky of glittering stars. Olakira Migration Camp offers nine tents when settled in the southern region, one of which has two bedrooms for families. Meanwhile, the northern Serengeti setting has ten tents and two family units.

Ubuntu Migration Camp follows the colossal herds of wildebeest as they journey around the Serengeti. From the dramatic river crossings in the north to the fertile grasslands in the south where the wildebeest give birth, we set up camp nearby to ensure you’re always close to the action.

Our traditional tented camp is designed to leave no trace. We can quickly disassemble it and move with the herds to new pastures. Every day, we’re out in the bush looking for wildlife such as lions or cheetahs attracted by the huge gatherings of prey. Over morning coffee, watch wildebeest males chasing each other or zebras tussling. For a sunrise to remember, start the day by gliding above the plains in a hot-air balloon. In the evening, look up as the stars reveal themselves. 

Oliver’s Camp, located in Tarangire National Park, is a place for those who want to experience an adventurous safari with ample comforts.

Small groups may want to consider booking out a 5-tent area of the camp offset about a kilometer away from the main area and which can be operated as an exclusive use option. 

The Highlands has redefined the Ngorongoro Crater experience, offering an array of activities afforded by the camp’s exclusive location and a combination of comfort and contemporary style.

Nestled on the shores of Lake Victoria lies the boutique Rubondo Island Camp, which provides a rare opportunity to explore Africa’s most noteworthy island national park. When it comes to witnessing the world-famous Great Migration, Rekero is in prime position. Overlooking the Talek River in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, the camp sits next to a main crossing point used by the wildebeest on their epic annual journey.

Guests can watch the herd make this perilous crossing without even leaving the camp. Enjoy this and other wildlife sightings from the comfort of your riverside tent or from one of the two communal decks.  

Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, offering Big 5 game viewing, is the perfect destination for those interested in conservation.  It features ten spacious and comfortable en-suite bathroom canvas tents along the Ewaso Ngiro River, where elephants are frequently seen from camp. Jabali Ridge is a stylish camp in the wildlife-rich Ruaha National Park, set on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Mwagusi River and Ikuka escarpment.  A landscape of sun-bleached plains, mighty baobabs and hardy shrubs, Ruaha National Park is home to large numbers of lion, elephant, buffalo and even endangered African wild dogs. 

The luxurious Jabali Ridge offers eight expansive and romantic suites surrounded by ancient giant granite boulders. The setting provides stunning views across a sprawling baobab forest and the grasslands beyond.
