The Explorer Tour offers a unique experience in the Namib Desert. This is a slow-paced tour but not lacking adventure. You will get to ride your quad bike along huge sand dunes, but also get an educational experience, as your guide aims to show you all the wonderful plant- and animal-life of the Namib. The interesting encounters with the little critters of the desert will give you a different perspective of the Namib, along with some great photos for you to take home. Safety gear, transfers and water is included.

We combine an adventure filled quad bike ride with the beauty of an African dusky evening. Follow your guide along huge sand dunes, until he finds the most picturesque location for you to sit and enjoy fresh Namibian oysters  and non-alcoholic champagne while watching the skies turn orange. The tour takes about 90 minutes.

We take a quad bike ride deep into the desert, towards beautiful Rossmund Golf Estate. With an excellent view of the golf course, you can try and spot springbok and possibly other wildlife while you enjoy a hearty breakfast, after which we head back on the quad bikes.

There are many interesting sights to see, including desert fauna and flora, and giant sand dunes that run straight into the ocean. Your will not be rushed as our tour can last a bit longer when possible at no extra cost to you. The typical duration of this tour is 5 hours :)

Our tour is a perfect blend of photography, wildlife, culture and history. You will also experience dune driving in our 4x4 vehicle, performed by our experienced guide. This is certainly the best way to spend half a day when you are visiting the coast.
