Our grade 3 option offers a milder Nile than our full on gung-ho grade 5 rafting. Many guests use this option to build their experience and confidence before rafting grade 5 on the second day.

This is a fun trip, running alongside Grade 5 rapids, all the thrills but none of the spills.

The spectacular helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls is known as the ‘Flight of Angels’.

David Livingstone famously wrote on seeing the Victoria Falls for the first time in 1855 that “Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight”. Little did he know that 150 years later he could have exactly that opportunity. The best way to appreciate the true splendour of the Victoria Falls is to view them from the air. Our helicopters have specially designed ‘bubble shaped’ windows perfect for panoramic viewing and great photographic opportunities from all seats.

Due to the close proximity of Maramba Aerodrome to the Zambezi River, the helicopters are over the spectacular scenery of the Zambezi River within 30 seconds after take-off.

After take off the helicopter turns out towards the magnificent Victoria Falls, our pilot will fly left and right hand circuits over the Victoria Falls in both directions giving you the best viewing, photographic and filming opportunities. A trip up the Zambezi River and back over theZambezi National Park completes your flight.

Pelagic birds are seabirds that spend most of their time on the ocean away from land. They only visit land to nest. Birders and scientists often know much less about the pelagic birds in their region than other species, meaning there are still lots of exciting things to discover. Examples of pelagic birds in the Walvis Bay area include several species of Albatrosses, Petrels, Skuas, Prions, Fulmars and Gulls.

There is only one way to see and understand the magnitude, historical relevance and sheer beauty of this Natural Wonder of the World, by guided tour. We take a quad bike ride deep into the desert, towards beautiful Rossmund Golf Estate. With an excellent view of the golf course, you can try and spot springbok and possibly other wildlife while you enjoy a hearty breakfast, after which we head back on the quad bikes.

Embark on this unique day tour from Walvis Bay or Swakopmund and see or LIVING FOSSIL! A 5 hour excursion into the Welwitschia plains that includesl lunch and transfers from your accomodation.

You will experience the thrill of intrepidation as you navigate the dry riverbed of the Swakop River (only if there has been no rain). The huge boulders will render you speechless and the large acacia trees offer a welcome change of scenery compared to the arid welwitschia plains.

You will enter the river just below Kalagala Falls and next to Wildwaters Lodge. Here you will be able to drift next to some of the last conserved riverine forests on the Nile and be able to learn about the river flows, currents, eddies and water features that create some of the most renowned rapids in the world. Just below Wildwaters Lodge you will be able to view the complex and enormously exciting ‘Hypoxia’ rapid. This rapid is almost inaccessible and only from the river can you can see and feel its remarkable power in complete safety.

With a couple of river features to follow, you will then pass by the Buganda Kingdoms sites of cultural and national importance and then drift pleasantly down towards the base of Itanda Falls with your guide paddling you and teaching you about our river operations, safety and how we have guided thousands of people safely on the River Nile for the last 30 years.

Our aim with the family bushwalks is to involve all members of the family no age restriction.
The family walks will be conducted in Letsatsing game park bordering the Pilanesberg National park but still within the boundaries of Sun City. It is a 700Ha reserve with plenty of wildlife such as Wildebeest, Impala, Sable antelope and Nyala and much more not to forget about all the smaller creatures, critters and bird life. While doing this activity one of our qualified field guides will collect the guests at the departure point and proceed to Letsatsing game park. Once in Letsatsing guests and our guide will disembark from the Game Drive vehicle and the bush walk will commence. Going as close to the animals without scaring them away or disturbing them too much. We will then also focus a bit more on the behavior of the different animals and look at certain aspects that they leave behind like tracks, dung, and signs that we might pick up on them.

Excursions depart morning and afternoons. This is a child-friendly activity.

Imagine taking a running jump into thin air over the chasm, soaring horizontally through the air over the turmoil of the Zambezi below. The gorge at this point is 200 meters wide and 120 meters deep. This is a great appetizer before you try the Zip Line and Gorge Swing.

As the river zigzags down the Batoka Gorges, our cable is suspended across from one side to the other. For this product you are harnessed and attached to a pulley, then launched over the edge picking up speed as you descend over the water and reaching a speed of 106 km an hour.

The Spitzkoppe granite peaks are one of the most popular sights in Namibia. It is the highest mountain in the country and has been discribed as the metterhorn of Namibia  due to the shape of one of its peaks. Clients are taken to an authentic rural village approximately 20km from Victoria Falls town where they are given the opportunity to watch local villagers going about their daily tasks. We combine an adventure filled quad bike ride with the beauty of an African dusky evening. Follow your guide along huge sand dunes, until he finds the most picturesque location for you to sit and enjoy fresh Namibian oysters  and non-alcoholic champagne while watching the skies turn orange. The tour takes about 90 minutes.

Like the exquisite bird after which it was named, “Malachite” is one of the Zambezi River’s crowning gems, offering the best dinner cruise in Victoria Falls. Guests are welcomed on board with a refresher towel and chilled flute of sparkling wine before they settle down on the top floor of the vessel for a sunset cruise before dinner.

Amuse bouche and snack platters are served while the sun sinks below the shimmering surface of the Zambezi. Chobe National Park is well known for its large herds of elephant that frequent the Chobe River on a daily basis. In the dry season an estimate of up to 85,000 elephants can be dispersed within the Chobe National Park, where the majority of them can be found along the river. Apart from the herds of elephants, Chobe also has lots more to offer. The Park has lion, leopard, buffalo and a whole host of antelope like sable, puku, kudu, eland, roan and many others which you can get to see. The river is filled with big pods of hippos and some of the biggest crocodiles in Africa.

This tour departs daily to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Clients will be transferred to the Kazungula border where their Botswana guide will meet them. They will proceed straight to the morning cruise where they will spend the morning game viewing along the Chobe River. The cruise will end at around 12h30 and clients will go to a hotel on the riverbank for lunch. After lunch, guests will board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park. Following this they will be taken back to the Kazungula Border where they will be met by their Zimbabwean guide for their return transfer to Victoria Falls.

Our first Grade 5 rapid of the day is ‘Overtime’, which is a complex water fall, with an exciting drop depending on the water levels of the day. Shortly after this you enter ‘Retrospect’, a Grade 4 stopper wave with a roller coaster wave train following.

With a calm section of the river ahead, your group has time to take in the scenery and wildlife on the Nile.

A short paddle later and Bubugo is beckoning and is a Grade 4 rapid offering you another adrenalin pumping experience! Just after Bubugo you have the opportunity to view our new developments at Itanda Falls, Kalagala Falls and Wildwaters Lodge, where we are developing the largest adventure camp on the Nile!

Arguably the wildest white water in the world, rafting on the Zambezi River is an adrenaline rush not to be missed. The rapids on the Zambezi River are officially defined as “Grade 5” by the British Canoe Union (Grade 6 not being commercially run). Clients should be reasonably fit for this activity, as there is a steep walk into & out of the Batoka Gorge as well as the white water rafting activity itself. The gorge is over 100 meters deep at the Falls and increases to over 200 meters by the end of a full day raft trip. Despite this rugged terrain, the gorges below the Falls are thick with vegetation and incredibly spectacular.

The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens and to one of the favourite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside’s dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

We offer a variety of quad bike tours, choose between 1 hour, 90 minutes, 2 hours, and 3 hours! All tours include all safety equipment needed. A license is not required to ride a quad bike and beginners are more than welcome. The 2 and 3 hour tours include water and transfers. Small children may ride with an adult, and we also offer a children's quad bike track.

The Spirit of Victoria is a traditionally designed 58ft Gaff Rigged Schooner, easily identified in the bay by her red brick brown sails. Built to seat 45 passengers, Spirit of Victoria offers regular sailing trips to Table Bay. The bar aboard offers sparkling wine, beer and cold drinks. Spirit of Victoria offers an authentic, laid-back sailing experience to remember.

This sailing trip takes you from the historic Victoria & Alfred Waterfront out to sea on a short cruise across the bay and back.

The Wild Horizons Gorge Swing is a thrilling and mind blowing experience. Leap into the wide-open air as you plunge into the mouth of the Batoka gorge, Victoria Falls. Scream as you break free of the fear and trepidation you felt before you threw yourself off the platform. Zero Gravity!

Imagine swinging in a child’s swing in the playground…now imagine a giant swing 95 m long and 120 m high above water…now imagine a 70 m free fall before you begin swinging. Stop imagining and come and try it out! Our high wire is suspended across the gorge at a point where the width is 316 m and 120 m deep. A harness is attached to the jumper and then the jumping ropes, the other end of which is pivoted to the middle of the cable. The jumper leaps off the edge of the gorge, free falling about 70 m before going into a 95 m long pendulum type swing.

The Victoria Falls Canopy Tour offers fantastic views of Zambezi rapids, Victoria Falls Bridge & the spray of the Falls.

Observe the riverine forest from a variety of different vantage points – from above, below and within the canopy itself — experience forest bird-life, which can include the Knysna and Purple-crested Turaco (Lourie) and Peregrine Falcons. The Victoria Falls Canopy Tour offers a network of slides, trails and rope bridge walkways within the canopy of the hardwood forest of the Zambezi gorges. This experience is suitable for adventure seekers of all ages including families and groups. The Canopy Tour is family fun with a unique birds-eye view of one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

The Canopy Tour consists of nine slides, varying in length and one cable bridge walkway. The longest slide is about 85 metres long and the shortest 40 metres in length. Our friendly and experienced staff will give you a detailed safety briefing before the canopy tour, taking you step by step through your upcoming adventure. There are two guides on each tour, and the activity lasts for between two to two and a half hours.

A stop at the West Coast National Park is a must when visiting the area. During Spring the area is coloured by the beautiful wild flowers that are unique to this region. The Zambezi Sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River.

There are great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets.

Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline. Clients may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species.

The Sunset Cruise is very popular and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, local spirits and soft drinks.

Inclusions

Refreshments, local brand beverages and finger snacks, transfers from all Victoria Falls hotels within a 5km radius of the jetty are included in the rate.

Go and search for adventure and wildlife on one of our four wheelers, encountering natural obstacles en-route. Guests are collected from the Sun City Welcome Centre and transferred through to Letsatsing Game Reserve; the transfer takes approximately 10 minutes. On arrival guests are met by their trail guide who welcomes them and takes them through the safety procedures. After the safety briefing, guests will go on the practice course for approximately 5 minutes. The purpose of the practice course is to ensure that guests are comfortable with the Quad Bikes before departing for the 30 minute nature trail

This is Adrifts most extreme, exhilarating and exciting package for taking on the mighty River Nile.

Extreme Rafting runs alongside our Full Rafting Packages; jump on board the 2 seater Croc with your very own guide. Your adventure starts just below the Bujagali Dam and entering the river at the renowned high flow ‘Jaws’ as our 1st rapid of the day, the Nile then beckons you further downstream.

This section of the river is pristine, the trees and natural riverine environment creates a beautiful and fast flowing experience, before we prepare you for the first grade 5 rapids of the day. After a short paddle we then have 2 motivating rapids called ‘Pyramid’ and ‘Giggitty Giggitty’. Soon after these introductory rapids you will be ready to conquer the rest the mighty Nile has to offer!

Our first Grade 5 rapid of the day is ‘Overtime’, which is a complex waterfall, with an exciting drop depending on the water levels of the day.

Rafting with Adrift you get so much more safety, fun, enjoyment and service. Our last rapid of the day is ‘Vengeance’ followed by lunch at Adrift Overland Camp.

Experience the adventure and beauty of exploring the Namib desert with your guide. There are many interesting sights to see, including desert fauna and flora, and giant sand dunes that run straight into the ocean. Your will not be rushed as our tour can last a bit longer when possible at no extra cost to you. The typical duration of this tour is 5 hours :)

Our tour is a perfect blend of photography, wildlife, culture and history. You will also experience dune driving in our 4x4 vehicle, performed by our experienced guide. This is certainly the best way to spend half a day when you are visiting the coast.

Table Mountain – Start your adventure with a hike up a deep ravine on the front face of Cape Town’s famed Table Mountain, taking in the immense beauty that surrounds you and the views that stretch out across the city and the ocean. A trained guide will lead you to the very top summit, Maclears Beacon, for even more stunning views before you descend Table Mountain with a cable car ride (weather permitting).

Silvermist Zipline – Upon arrival, guests will receive a brief safety introduction before all the fun begins. Once ready, embark on a guided 4×4 drive into the mountain and enjoy the spectacular views before ziplining through the valley at Silvermist.

Constantia Wine Route – After a day filled with adventures, spend the afternoon leisurely in the picturesque Constantia Wine Route and relax with a lunch (to own account) and wine tasting (complimentary).
