This is to confirm that the Narok County Council (NCC), which manages and protects the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, has increased its entry fees for 2024. Please take note of the new rates below, which fall into two separate seasons of travel.

1st January - 30th June 2024 (inclusive) for non-residents:
USD 100 per day, per adult
USD 50 per day, per child (9-17 years; 8 years and below are free)

1st July - 31st December 2024 (inclusive) for non-residents:
USD 200 per day, per adult
USD 50 per day, per child (9-17 years; 8 years and below are free)

The new park fees will be applicable to all travellers visiting the Masai Mara National Reserve from 1st January 2024 - therefore we shall be amending all existing confirmed and provisional bookings with the new increases.

It is important to understand that these increases will strengthen conservation efforts and improve infrastructure in the Reserve, support nearby communities and ultimately enhance the already amazing Masai Mara safari experience.

Please also note that the implementation of a 12-hour rule (6am - 6pm) is with immediate affect and applies to any guests departing the Masai Mara National Reserve after 11am, where an additional (full day) park fee will be charged. Those departing on the morning flight schedule are not affected.

Guests undertaking any activity within the Mara Conservancy on the morning of departure, are required to pay a full day park fee on that day

Conservation & Community

For 48 years Governors' Camp Collection and its clients have been working hand in hand with its community neighbours running community support and conservation programs that have delivered real results.

In many cases, we are now working directly with the sons and daughters of community elders that we started working with all those years ago. Governors’ Camp Collection is extremely proud of its achievements.

It is the policy of the Governors’ Camp Collection to support local communities in our area of operations. We recognise that in order to conserve these unique wild areas of Africa, the local communities must benefit directly from tourism.

This portion of the website gives you just a flavour of some of our projects and partners and the work we are doing – we would welcome your support!
