InventTour - King Lewanika

This camp is named after King Lewanika of the Lozi people, who proclaimed Liuwa Plain a protected area in the early 1880s, making it one of the earliest national parks in Africa.

King Lewanika Lodge is the only permanent safari camp in Zambia’s remote Liuwa Plains National Park, offering a rare opportunity to experience one of Africa’s last true wildernesses. The lodge sits on the edge of a small woodland, overlooking the vast open plains where the continent’s second-largest wildebeest migration unfolds each year.
