InventTour - Togoro Plains

Opened in 2023, Togoro Plains is a permanent lodge set in the northern Serengeti, midway between Seronera and Lobo. This wildlife-rich area is blessed with permanent waterholes, attracting animals year-round, and has been designated a “rhino sanctuary” by Serengeti National Park thanks to the presence of a small population of black rhinos. The lodge features 14 tents, including three spacious family tents with two bedrooms that can accommodate up to six guests, while all tents can host up to three people. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and public restrooms, with 24/7 electricity provided by a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system. As the camp is unfenced, safety is ensured by armed rangers and Maasai guards. Wi-Fi is available in the common areas, allowing guests to stay connected while enjoying this remote and remarkable corner of the Serengeti.
