We have been operating since 2011 and end of this season it will be 10 years. The entire camp has since been expanded and fully renovated to the highest possible standards on an ethnic concept.

Manyara Wildlife Camp lies along the 600 meter Rift Valley Escarpment over the river basin overlooking the lake itself. It runs all the way to EGYPT!

Our accommodations and infinity swimming pool are built right at the edge of the escarpment and provide unparalleled views of the region. The camp is divided into cabins and safari tents, offering visitors a range of options for accommodations.

We are located a short drive from Arusha and are also accessible from Kilimanjaro Airport . We offer shuttle services from those destinations.

Perched high on the rim of the Great Rift Valley, Escarpment Luxury Lodge is a serene haven overlooking the wonder of Lake Manyara below. Offering 16 private, tastefully decorated chalets.

Inviting the incredible beauty of the African bush in expanses of windows and doors mean that you have nature right around you as you sit in the comfort and luxury of the superbly appointed bar lounge. A spreading deck surrounding the main lodge affords you breathtaking views of the lake and the gorge upon which the lodge perches watch pelican sweep the skies as you take sundowners, see the sun slip like a segment of orange into the hills and listen to the sounds of Africa nestle up to you as night slides in.

Kirurumu Manyara Lodge is set high on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, enjoying a marvellous, uplifting and panoramic view eastward over Lake Manyara, the Rift floor and Mt. Losimingori. Behind Kirurumu, the Ngorongoro Highlands rise in green and fertile splendour and form the gateway to Ngorongoro Crater and, finally, Olduvai Gorge, the Serengeti.

Migunga Tented Camp is nestled in a quiet corner on the northwest of Lake Manyara. The camp is ideally situated in shade of an acacia forest, only 5 minutes from the entrance of Lake Manyara National Park. This is the ideal base camp to discover the beautiful surroundings of Lake Manyara, or pay a cultural visit to the colourful town of Mto Wa Mbu.

The camp is set in 35 acres of acacia forest and consists of 21 permanent tents on raised platforms, all with en-suite bathrooms and a private veranda overlooking the lush forest. All the tents are discretely placed around a central glade, offering shade and privacy, but still only a short walk to the restaurant and bar.

At Migunga you wake up in the morning to the sound of the forest, with beams of the sun finding their way through the tall trees. In the afternoon you can enjoy our mountain bike ride trail through Lake Manyara’s backyard or enjoy watching our vervet monkeys muck about on the central field. The evenings are resonating with the typical sounds of forest creatures, making your fairytale complete.

Lake Manyara National Park offers a true wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Overlooking a forest boma, or outdoor dining area lined with traditional dugout canoes, guest areas are characterised by soaring spaces that house local artworks and tactile fabrics. An interactive kitchen allows guests to observe, or help with, the preparation of delectable menus that are served in the theatrical boma or on the open dining decks. Relax at the sparkling pool in the heat of the afternoon or spend time with the Maasai running through local communities.

Nestled on the rim of the Great African Rift Valley with stunning views over Lake Manyara, Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day. The lodge is set on pristine lush green gardens and local vegetation with over 130 species of birds.

Aligned with soaring flamingos, Mandhari Lodge is situated high on the Manyara Escarpment which forms part of the Great Rift Valley. ‘Mandhari’ means ‘view, scenery, landscape’ in Swahili, and with a bird’s eye view of the great expanse from Lake Natron to Mondulli Mountains and across Lake Manyara, this lodge offers breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset.

Swaddled in the colours of the earth, the lodge offers a unique medley of accommodation options; nine dramatic, glass-fronted standard suites, one honeymoon suite, one cosy family suite for up to 4 people and one incredible 4-bedroom (up to 8 people) Nasikia Villa with private plunge pool. All suites and villa have an unob- structed view across the dreamy landscape below.

The large, core gathering area of reception, dining, lounge, bar and swimming pool is largely an open eucalypt platform filled with hand-crafted furnishings and woven delights.
