Mashatu Tent Camp offers an authentic and intimate safari experience, allowing guests to connect deeply with the African bush. Raised canvas tents provide a rustic yet comfortable stay, each with a private outdoor en-suite bathroom and veranda. Though lacking air conditioning, the camp ensures comfort with hot water bottles in colder months and a refreshing pool for warm days. Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu is set on the bank of the mighty Limpopo River, with beautiful rolling lawns surrounded by sandstone outcrops. This luxury 4-star camp is home to extensive lodge gardens and grounds include a swimming pool tucked away against giant rocks, waterhole, hide and walking trail and a romantic star gazing deck.

Eight luxury tented suites are spacious, airy and elevated. They present themselves as draped canvas walls and roofs over timber frames. Large wrap-around decks provide a relaxing outdoor space with views over the gardens and surrounding bush. The interiors are a modern interpretation of the classic ‘out of Africa’ décor, with a flowing open plan design. All suites feature an island bed, lounge area, freestanding bath, large shower, double basin vanity area, separate W.C. and ample storage space.

The days will be spent embarking on game drives taking in the unique landscapes of Tuli with mighty rock formations and ancient Baobab trees, as well as relaxing and unwinding in the pool and gardens.
