Tarangire Treetops sits serenely in a private game reserve bordering the Tarangire National Park.

Centered about a main lodge, which itself encases a thousand year-old baobab tree, Tarangire Treetops comprises 20 treehouses all of which are perched high above the ground in the broad boughs of marula and baobab trees.

On these drives through the park you can expect to see any number of resident zebra and wildebeest in addition to animals such as waterbuck, giraffe, and olive baboons.   

A walking safari, always an exhilarating adventure, is conducted in the company of an experienced guide and offers an up close opportunity to discover more about both fauna and flora.

AfroChic, Elewana’s boutique beach hotel located on the sandy shores of Diani Beach in Kenya, will be closing, temporarily, for an exciting renovation and refurbishment programme.

The extensive project will centre on enhancing the overall property experience through a significant investment in the property’s structural design, its exterior and interior aesthetics as well as its gardens and recreational areas. 

The new contemporary proposition will “promote the work of local African painters and designers, crafters and weavers, welders and sculptures, artisans and artists; an ode to the indomitable creative African force” said Jalan Sahba, interior designer for the project.

“We are all very excited to undertake this project and upgrade AfroChic and to be able to do so whilst celebrating local creativity and talent, is an honour ” said Karim Wissanji, Founder and CEO of Elewana.

AfroChic will be closed from 23rd October 2022 and given the extent of the planned renovations, AfroChic will remain closed until December 2023, or as otherwise advised.
